I write to organize what’s in my mind. It helps me to thread the thoughts, ideas, images, visions, and many other things passing through it. It allows me to make sense of the nonsense in it. It gives me a visual map, something I can physically navigate and work with, something I can organize into some type of form. That’s why I write, to give form to the formless.
